Campus Outreach San Diego
Thursday, August 4th, 2011It’s official: G’Joe Joseph is leading a team of staff to start Campus Outreach San Diego by partnering with Harbor Presbyterian Church, and Ben Creasman is taking over G’Joe’s role as the director of CO Greenville. We’re so excited to help launch this new ministry, because we all feel strongly that God is calling more laborers to the mission field in San Diego, especially at San Diego State University. Please join us in praying for a smooth launch in San Diego and relaunch in Greenville. Check out this video too!
Urban Project 2011
Wednesday, July 6th, 2011On Thursday, as the Cross Cultural Project team returned from South Africa, five Furman students and two CO staff members departed for San Diego, California, to begin Campus Outreach Greenville’s first ever Urban Project. The students will get training in studying the Bible and sharing their faith, while putting what they learn into practice by partnering with Harbor Presbyterian Church to do urban ministry and by sharing their faith with students at San Diego State University. Please join us in praying that the team would grow together and grow toward the Lord as they labor for the gospel on the West Coast.
Leadership Project 2011: Taste and See
Friday, June 3rd, 2011It’s official: the 2011 Leadership Project in Myrtle Beach, SC has begun. On June 1st, 150 students and staff moved into the Aquarius V Motel for the summer. The students will be working jobs together with their roommates, learning how to study the Bible and share their faith, and reaching coworkers and vacationers with the gospel. The theme this summer is “Taste and See,” referring to Isaiah 55:1-2 and Psalm 34:8. We want to learn that Christ offers us deep and complete satisfaction when we walk with him, so we want to experience that reality by “tasting and seeing that the Lord is good.” Please pray for God to work in the hearts of our students to sanctify them and to grow them into mature men and women of God.

Please pray for continued safety for the team, wisdom for the staff leaders, and spiritual growth for all.
Ministry Snapshot
Monday, May 2nd, 2011Here’s a quick look at what God is doing in the lives of some of the students involved with our ministry. God has been so faithful to bear fruit through our faithfulness, and on Saturday night, we celebrated his awesome work with many of our supporters at Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church. We are so blessed by all of you who pray, give, and love us and our students!
