My Story:
Growing up I was blessed to have a Father and Mother who cared about me and understood my potential along with siblings whose lives I could watch and model. To keep it short I was the “good kid” with a small worldview and a desire to be comfortable. The problem was my moral lifestyle had no grip on the Gospel. It wasn’t until I understood that even though my parents raised me to be an upstanding gentleman, God was very displeased with my heart. Through a clear gospel presentation and Holy Spirit’s redeeming work, I came to true faith in Christ and not a moralistic dependence on my own righteousness. Through fellowship and accountability with a group of likeminded young men and life on life discipleship, God has matured me and changed my life. I now desire to see the world changed for His glory.
My hobbies:
Playing/Watching sports, reading, fishing, playing cards, & hanging with friends
My favorites:
My Mom’s fruit salad, attending concerts, quotes from my nephew Ethan, nice Sunday afternoon drives in the spring, fellowshipping over meals, a good cigar, and Christmas.
What you probably didn’t know about me:
I like some country music, acted as John Henry in a school play, watch American/Turner Movie Classic style movies, and
desire to play an instrument one day.
